I think I will give them a call. Thanks for posting this!

Re: What did you do to your SMB today?

Well, glad to hear that my drain time is normal. I was going to use the pump and run it thru the sink, but thot that the pump would overheat removing 16 gallons. Guess I need to time it, but at 2 gal./min it shouldn't be a problem. Gray water tank isn't a problem either. My van just piddles on the ground. Hey, my water is a very light gray....
Greggde, maybe I should look into that stuff. I still like to disinfect the system once a year though. You never know what evil lurks in one's tank. You can't believe some of the stuff I've found growing in water tanks over the years.
Thanks for the input guys.

Scatter ,
This Taste Pure product is a formulated with a drinkable solution of Sodium Hypochlorite , this is the same formulation used by NASA for rendering the water with an oder free , fresh taste .
The throw away filter will go a long way in the elimination of the very water born contaminants that will foul your system and will also eliminate Scale and excessive minerals .
Be sure to mix a half a cup of Baking Soda with water and add to your tank when it is half full
after dumping your Chlorinated mixture . Finish filling your tank , run some of this solution into your system wait a couple of hours and drain and refill with fresh water that will be ready for consumption . The Baking Soda will nullify the chlorine taste an smell . And yes it is wise to flush and clean your water system at least once a year .
Greggde

PS don't forget the Hot Water Heater and lines if you have them .

One the subject of drinking water. We have a PUR water filter that simply screws onto the faucet in the SMB. It filters contaminants and always tastes great.

Saline ,
Ideally it might serve you well to filter your water at the outside source , eliminating the need for an indoor filtration and the possibility of contamination within your system . We to have a Pure system inside of the EB-50 for safety's sake as well .

Agreed, I have an inline filter for the hose but even with that the water from some places does taste a little funky without the PUR filter

Re: What did you do to your SMB today?

Hooked up the LED bulbs on the outside camp light. Started with one but it really needed two.
Pretty bright but I might adjust it to project more towards the side cargo door. No worry's if I forget to turn it off at night, draws alot less Amps. I'm thinking of adding a motion sensor mode switch.

Also did the inside lights: I really like the Warm LED versions for the front cabin, and the bright LED versions for the back "kitchen" area..

Good job NRL , I know that you will be pleased with your conversion as we have been , this was one of the first changes that we made after taking delivery of our Van , in fact I think that I may have a subliminal light fetish .

NRL,

For your porch light, did you just splice in the positive and negative leads of the second board into the first one?
