I recently saw her on a commercial for California tourism. She's a California girl and somewhat of a star on the small screen.

Replaced the house battery with a new Lifeline GPL-27T and added a breaker.

Our 2005 just hit 200,000 miles, so to celebrate we thought we would treat her to a serious mechanical overhaul:

Replaced stock rear diff with Detroit TruTrac LSD
New brake pads and rotors
Parking brake pads and adjustment
All belts and hoses replaced along with belt tensioner
All fluids flushed and replaced
Spark plugs and coils, compression test
Repacked bearings
New battery
Replaced fuel filter and fuel pump
Thermostat and air filter
Fuel pressure sensor (no check engine lights!)
SuperSpring added to rear leaf pack
Oil and transmission fluid analysis prior to changing - all good!

Nearly all of the above was preventative, but at 15 years old and 200,000 miles we figured it was time considering many were the original parts. Hoping to have another hundred thousand trouble free miles!

Well geez, in the last month or so:
* Installed a Renogy 165w solar panel with a Blue Sky MPPT controller and didn't screw up the hole for the controller.
* Replaced the Sure Power isolator/separator with a Blue Sea 7622 ACR (nice)
* Installed the Beckson deck hatch into the top of my fresh water tank for cleaning access
* Put the roof box back on and the traction mat holder mounted on the roof rack
* Put on new Falken Wildpeak AT3W tires and yes, they seem nice but no road trip on them yet. Soon.
* Put in a Weboost cell signal booster - testing phase
* Had fender vents installed in the hope/belief that this will help cool the engine department
* Installed taller faucet for the sink - the shorter one was a pain but this might be too tall
* Did a thorough spring cleaning that was followed by a foot of snow

But before that, we put about 7k into upgrades for the 6L van to ensure it keeps on going and going.

That included replace the OEM oil cooler and filter screens, new 6.4L tranny pan and complete tranny flush, pull apart rear end and replaced bearings on rear axles, replaced front ball joints, tie rod ends, pitman arm and steering box with a Redhead, recharged the air conditioner, changed oil and both filters, replaced both fuel filters, replaced Atlas transfer case output shaft seal, new actuator for the rear door power lock, aligned the front end.

All this to prepare for a month or so in Baja that we aren't doing now. Bummer, but we can isolate somewhere else as we know of some very well hidden and remote places not far from here in SE Utah, so long as San Juan county in UT doesn't close their borders. Or we could just stay home and be safe on our isolated 14 acres.

Thanks to all youse guys for the help and advice I have gotten over the years here. We decided to keep this van for the long haul and not go with a Quadvan Transit.

Had Sportsmobile West install a power top on my van. No more breaking my back trying to push the top up!! Even got a tour of the factory while I was up there. Lots of cool rigs being built.

Actually two, but decided not bring attention to the fact the cut lies were drawn like they circled the entire role - suggesting the absence of confidence in either the saw, or the operator
