I figure six years without A/C is long enough!

Today: new faucet, new microwave, and a redneck funnel-less water filling system.

Dropped my 8 year old AGM from under the van. I have a replacement Lifeline on order as well as a new circuit breaker for good measure since it's been in the elements all these years. I'm surprised there weren't any battery tie downs in use despite the holes drilled in the bracket. I know it's heavy but I'll be adding them for good measure with the new battery. While I'm under there I'm dealing w any surface rust. I took a serious look at lithium but 3x the cost is a hard pill to swallow. Maybe next time.Click image for larger version

Speaking of batteries. I install two new Duracell X2 Group 27 batteries in our van today. I also was able to get 8 years out of the last set, so not too bad I guess. The lower cost ones were all on back order (like everything now), but I needed them now so I popped for the more expensive ones. $855 for the pair. In our RB50 they are located in a box inside the van in the rear passenger corner. Took about 3 or 4 hours altogether by the time I unloaded everything, cleaned it up, bought the new ones, and reinstalled them. They are rated at 92AH each I think and weigh about 60 pounds each.

Replaced the original outside shower, you know, the one with the white plastic hose that kinks, leaks, and is a devil to pull out. The new one has a stainless steel hose that pulls in and out like butter!

Here ya go, 1der: https://www.amazon.com/dp/B09DRYV31M...roduct_details

Pretty easy upgrade, if you bolt in the hanger that comes with it and remove the original SMB hanger it just fits.

Removed a couple of the old light fixtures, that I had upgraded to LED a few years ago, and installed Leisure Coachwork's dimmable LED fixtures.
