Yes Butyl. I think silicone or any thing else would have been messy and foam or dbl sided tape decomposes/disintegrates. I think butyl was the best choice because I can always silicone any leaks from the inside of which I have none as of yet.

Anything to ID the tool or the fasteners. I've used numerous like Rivet Nuts or Plus Nuts, they seem to have various names.

Nuts washers another $20 or so. Now that I have the blanks on a cad system they should be cheaper to source.
Once you have the CAD files replicating your parts would indeed be easier and certainly less costly should you do this again.

Not sure I agree butyl is the best answer as its highly prone to degradation over time, probably much more than any other sealant. Using something that cures leaving a semi-flexible seal is best, IMHO and being in the glass installation biz too.

Anyway thanks for offering any images or parts numbers on your Huck fasteners---as I said more curiosity than anything.

Huck tool is available by Smittybuilt on their website. They make/sell Jeep accessories like lifts, compressors, awnings ect...
Rivets are available in 1/4 x 20, 5/16 & 3/8. Just search stainless round head hex drive bolts on Amazon same for rivets in the size you want/need. ACE Hardware carries the bolts as well.
