12 volt lights and fantastic fan don’t work

My 2014 Sportsmobile sprinter’s fantastic fan and some of the house lights quit working. Any one have a wiring diagram or suggestions on what to check and in what order? I replaced the fuse on the fantastic fan itself, hoping that was it but to no avail.

Thanks!

Your build should include an auxiliary or house fuse panel, it might be under the bench seat or cabinet in the rear. If not, unlikely as they’re mainly factory specific related, but check the fuses under dash. You can check continuity if you’ve got a volt meter.

Do you have your manual? There is usually a crude schematic in the manual. I haven't worked on a SMB Sprinter , but their general fusing policy is a 30 amp for the driver side and a 30 amp for the passenger side. Lights and other things can come off of these branch circuits usually without any additional fusing, except for water pump, pop top and maybe a few others now.

Hopefully someone with a Sprinter may have more help.

You'll have to pull some interior panels back a bit in places but I would try to track down the path the wiring takes from the interior fuse box to the roof vent. Odds are if both lights and fan went out there is a wire connector that has pulled loose somewhere in the ceiling. You can easily pull the trim down from the Fantastic Fan and might be able to tug on a wire and figure out it's path, or pull the trim from around the rear door, especially above the rear door and find the other end of that wire. Or start popping the lights out that aren't working and see if a daisy chain connection there is loose.
