2006 E350 Passenger Airbag Issue with Swivel Seat

You'll have to excuse the post below...this is my first one and am learning the rules. Feedback is great!

I have converted an 2006 E350 and installed a swivel seat on the front passenger seat. Under the seat, there is a yellow junction where two cords connect in and then two other cords exit. The yellow junction has a way to disconnect the junction.

When swiveling, the top two cords continue to come undone from the yellow junction. Does anyone know how to keep the wires attached? Or has anyone permanently attached the two wires together avoiding any issues with the junction? I took a picture of the issue and circled the wires that are coming out of the junction.

If those wires are pulling out of the connecter, chances are they were never fully seated, or possibly the retaining tabs on the barrels got bent in. You can move them back out with a pair of tweezers.

Here's a video explaining how these go together and come apart. Hope it helps.

Not sure it matters significantly but isn't that connector one of the Weatherpak GT-Series? The weather seals on the wires seem to be that type.
