7.3 batteries

Hey y’all, I just picked up a 2000 Ford E-350 SMB. It has been fully converted by sportsmobile. I have located two batteries ( under the hood and in a box bolted to the frame on the passenger side). My guestion is: Did SMB add another battery for the house battery? I read on another thread that they did but I have only been able to locate the two. Mine is a guigley 4x4 with the interior layout with the side goucho. Thanks for any help you may have.

Ricky

Does your SMB have a gaucho (couch) or bench seat? Sometimes house batteries are located under the seat cushion.

One of three likely potential places for the house battery (or batteries). On frame rail next to second stock battery, under gaucho, or in trays in the way back on either side.

I found it. It was in the way back on the passenger side. It is dead and I suspect that is where my 12v problems are. Thanks for y’all ‘s help. I’m sure I will have more questions as I continue to explore the new rig.

If you have two batteries under the hood on a 7.3 van, I'd love to see how it was done.
Please post a pic or three.

i think he was saying he located 1 under the hood and 1 on the frame rail. there is no room for a second under the hood without relocating something

To clarify, one battery under the hood, one battery on the frame rail on passenger side, one battery all the way back in the corner of the passenger side accessible from above through the floor.
