Sorry I didn't respond quickly. I didn't have to do anything for the abs light. Everything just worked as it should. I couldn't tell anything more. I'm glad you got it working properly, good job!

I'm hoping to do this same mod on my 1998 e250 5.4L Sportsmobile.

I'm assuming I should get as close to a 1998 f250 5.4L automatic donor dash? Anything else I should know before I start? Where did people poke the CTO cable through?

Yes you will want one with the analog odometer, same as you have now.
Check out eBay - the price of mine was very reasonable.

Read back through this thread and watch the videos. That will get you most of the way.
Biggest problem I had was getting the old odometer snapped into the new cluster. Thought for sure it would break. Use caution with that step!

It can go through anywhere really. I already had some cables running through near the steering shaft, so just added one more.

Yes, as close to the same and definitely with the analog odometer. I poked mine through a rubber plug near the... steering shaft I believe.
