Alternative to Thermoil battery 1427

Hi

I believe I need to replace my extra battery on my newly purchased 2001 Ford EB Sportsmobile EB-51 .

After 1+ hours of driving, it looses it charge from 12v to 9v within 4 hours with only the refrigerator running.

The manual states that the recommended extra battery is a Thermoil battery 1427 . The Thermoil site http://www.thermoilbatteries.com/ does not appear to carry this battery any longer.

Is there a recommended alternative for the extra battery?

Has any body used the Thermoil battery additives?

Thanks

your gonna have to measure to see what kind of room you'll need. I went with dual 4-D's but I had enough space. Maybe you could go with a 8-D perhaps. I knew several anglers who used the thermoil batteries and nobody seems to be using them anymore as AGM's have taken over.
Good luck.
