No disagreement here, but in my case, the cost to upgrade to a 3000w true sine wave is pretty high with little payback. Since I have 1800Ah of batteries, I can afford to run the microwave a bit longer, and the inverter/charger has been flawless for nearly 15 years. Still this would not be a great set-up for a van. My current van inverter is a 400w true sine wave, but it runs hot and draws too much when in standby, so I'll be upgrading at some point. Great info here....................
