Battery maintenance and storage solutions

I saw this guy with a truck that had graphics on it that said "we can make your battery last 5 times longer". Of course I had to ask. Basically they sell multi stage chargers and solar panels. The chargers are 5 stage with a high frequency pulse wave that de-sulfates the battery. They also have small maintenance solar panels. The stuff looks good and I might purchase one of the chargers.

For those w/o solar who want to keep the batteries topped off on a vehicle that sits for long periods, this system might work well.

I used this same stuff on my solar system in Baja. Didn't notice any difference. But, what the hey. Worth a try....

Yeah I'm not to sure about their product and I didn't see any prices on the web site. It seems that anything built into a pelican case is usually high priced but just looking at what they sell, it looks well made.

I need one of the small solar panels for a couple vehicles I rarely drive. I bought one of those cheap brunton panels but it didn't last long.

I've used the $10 (on sale) little Harbor Freight panels for all my bikes, quads, generator, truck, etc. in Baja while I was gone over the summer. I just hung the panels in a west window and extended the cords to reach the rigs. They worked great and I got many years out of the batteries after that. Sure can't beat the price and never had one fail.
