heheh... the first trip I took my van on was to the marble canyon area of the grand canyon.

We arrived right at sunset as a thunderstorm blew in. I was unable to deploy the grill to enjoy my steak I was planning, and even lowered the top due to winds. Ended up bunkering down and drinking a bottle of wine with microwave ravioli-os. Could only get one radio station, but we had satellite tv and music
mmocken:
I have a locationfree tv setup from sony that I use around the house that I may incorporate into my van setup. I have the 12 inch wireless monitor that I carry around all over the house, grill, spa, backyard, etc. I have been pondering getting an additional base station for the van so I can use the monitor at the communal picnic table that is so common on my camping trips.
Sony's support is TERRIBLE on this product though, and they may have even dropped the wireless monitor from their US lineup. One cool thing about it is if you have a wifi signal (say, a mobile routed hooked up to a 3g cell phone) you can connect to your base station at home and watch any of your programs from your home theater setup, like a tivo or other DVR.
There is also a pc client for the locationfree base, so I'm considering just getting a tablet pc and double duty it. You can also use a PSP to connect as well.
