Blue sky 2000e issue

Anyone experience chirping from their blue sky.? I can't find anything in manual that says chirping or beeping is possible and related to a specific condition..

Are you sure the chirping is coming from the Blue Sky? Single frequency electronic tones are difficult to locate the source of. Maybe your CO2 detector instead? That thing can drive you nuts with it's chirping.

I have the same sound. Sounds like its coming from up front. It is in fact the smoke detector above the penthouse bed. It looks like I will have to lift the top to get to it. However it is raining tonight and tomorrow so I'll have to wait till it stops. Good luck I'm sure it is the same thing for you. ( not blue sky solar btw)

Re: Blue sky 2000e issue

Funny, I kept my ear to it for close to half and hour, the chirp is every 4-5 minutes. It's not the co unit for sure because I pulled the fuse to verify..

But now I'm inking it could be the fire unit, because my penthouse was closed and that would muffle it.

Thanks for the help, I'll check it..

My smoke detector has a battery. That's the one which beeps and is difficult to pin down in my van. It's located on the roof close to the front fluorescent light. The CO detector is mounted on the wall and is fed by a fuse. Maybe SMB is using something different these days.
