If you go that route for each side you’ll need:
2 adjustment screws
1 “bucket” (that’s what they called them)
1 mounting ring with the four screws to hold the sealed beams to the bucket
1 plastic bezel with two bolt and two clips to attach to the van
1 spring
|
Good list!
I am pretty sure there are some plastics glides (that reduce friction between the bucket and plastic support structure) that also space the bucket out a little.

I didn’t notice any when I pulled the parts off the jy van. Seemed to mount up fine even if I happen to be missing some stuff.
Still happy with your setup TomsBeast? Any issues with those lights?

I've had mine in a little over a year now. My van is my "daily" driver, and is the vehicle we take 100% of the time when going out of town, the headlights have made those long drives home after dark noticeably less fatiguing than any of my previous lighting, so I'm still totally happy with them. I did add a cheap 30" curved led light bar to the grill to augment high beam, but it turns out that the Amazon special 5x7"s throw further than the 30" light bar!... At least I have 100% fill on my close range lighting now, which has been great for those long winding forest roads after dark.

I went with the Truck-Lites and it was one of the first things I did to my van. It really made a huge difference. My only complaint is that they suck for driving in wet snow, as unlike the original Halogen lamps, they don't get hot enough to melt sticking snow.

I'm new to the forum and the newer crop of Econolines (my previous one was a 1966) and am not familiar with the various stock headlight configurations. How can I tell what type of headlight I have now? Mine is a 2005 E350 Super Duty V10 wheelchair van.

The composite headlights are the higher-tier option and look like old TV screens...like this:
The sealed beams are the more budget option and look like this:
