CB brand and model?

I can't find my favorite CB model, RadioShack TRC-520 (compass, weather, CB) as it is out of production. It's a little cheapie model, but works great. So the question is, when I take out the little Cobra that keeps giving me problems in the Sporto, what should I put in?

I've always liked Uniden. Never had a problem with them and the 510XL is a great little radio. Can't remember if it has weather or not though. If our Cobra (SMB option) ever quits on us, i'll probably toss in a Uniden.

I like the Uniden too.
I have the Uniden PC78ELITE Bearcat which is a trucker radio that I now use in my SMB, and previously in my Jeep. I will likely buy a 2nd one.

The Cobras are very popular too (trucker/pro units).

I have the Cobra that came with my SMB (non pro unit) and am not crazy about it. I put it in my Jeep but will likely pull it out when I get around to it.

You may also want to consider a HAM radio. I just bought one this week and have been studying for the seemingly easy test. I am excited to have that too. But CB is still good for vehicle to vehicle communicaiton.

I have this that can put out 50watts has upper/lower side band AM/FM & 10 meter.
