True, I'm also trying to figure out all this electrical stuff. Mine says replace in 2005. The guy I bought it from later told me it never worked, he was ok with that, I'm not. Trying to figure out if there is an general electrical issue, a faulty monitor or an expired monitor. I just can't find how they are supposed to work.

I still feel I need to replace with a new CO monitor, even if it means the dreaded pulling cabinets and wall.
