Current thinking on GPS/Nav/Backup Camera/DVD/XM/bluetooth?

Hi All - We are purchasing a 1993 Ford E250 SMB, and want to install the electronics we have fallen in love with on our 2006 Pilot. My wife values simplicity. My current thinking is to go with an all in one, in dash unit, like the Kenwood DNX-6960 (with the backup camera and XM add on). We opted to cutout for a two DIN unit with a fixed screen rather than a one DIN unit with a retractable screen because we travel a lot of rough roads.

So, for all the geeks out there, if you had up to $1500 to spend to trick out your SMB electronics from the ground up, what would you do? Do you think the Kenwood DNX-6960 is a good option? We need Nav, backup camera, and XM (baseball games)-- the rest is nice but optional, and saving money is always good. Thanks for your thoughts.

I've got an older DNX in my Sprinter and absolutely love it. Everything on it works well and is fairly easy to figure out. The Bluetooth might be the exception. Callers have trouble hearing no matter where I put the microphone. Backup camera is handy but not a necessity in my opinion.

We have the DNX 7100 and couldn't be happier. The XM option was terrific for listing to the Giants win the World Series when we were in Death Valley.

That felt sooo good, I got to say that again. The Giants WON the World Series!

One of the Kenwoon options with a built-in Garmin GPS. ie DNX9960. I'm sick of the crap GPS that come in most in-dash units. In my van, I have an Alpine unit (INA-W900 double din with everything you want) it's amazing but the GPS is so useless and not upgradable that I'm close to junking it in favor of the Kenwood.

We have the DNX 9960 in ours and love it- so much that I'm getting one for my Tacoma.
