I too crimp and solder. It's pretty easy to solder since with big stuff you can use (carefully) a torch.

I've got one of the HF crimpers and it works quite well. I figured it was only gonna last one project, but it's still going. I wouldn't use it if I did this for a living, but sheesh, for occasional stuff it's the bomb.
