E550 conversion Help

I'm new to the group and hopefully can get some help.
In need of someone or place that can make me a pitman arm or something that uses a 41mm 36 spline output shaft the E550 is a odd one out.
Also when changing the tail housing the van used a great type sensor the 4x4 uses a tone ring anyone know if changing the ECM from the truck would fix the shifting issue transmission is a 4R100 with 7.3.
Any one had either of the too issues I'm having.
Thanks

Beyond needing help, i have no idea what it is youre attempting to do, or what it is youre trying to accomplish.

Maybe you could make things a bit clearer by telling everyone specifics beyond asking if we know someone who can make a custom pitman arm and then asking us technical questions about swapping an ECM from one vehicle to another by calling one a van and another a truck?

I mean come on man, you have made one post on this forum. Are we supposed to guess about what it is youre trying to do? I know theres an E-550 involved but beyond that i dont have a clue.

Whats a "great sensor" anyway?

So after reading your post eleventeen times, i have concluded that you are doing a 4x4 swap on your E-550 using parts from an F-550. You yanked the transmission and transfer case from the "truck" and installed it in the "van" but now you have shifting issues because one has a "gear" driven VSS and the other has an electronic VSS with a trigger wheel?

That said, you want to know if you can swap the ECU from the truck into your van in hopes of curing the shifting problem with the 4R100 without having to purchase additional components that might cure the issue?

The simple answer would likely be NO. You would have to study the entire pinout on that ECU to verify that the trucks are wired identical, the gear ratios are the same, the engines are the same, the gauges are the same, all the sensors are the same, etc... The odds of the ECU pinout being the same are slim and none.

Im still confused on what it is your doing with the pitman arm. I can only conclude that your existing pitman arm doesnt match with the "trucks" draglink taper?

Just blink once for yes and twice for no....
