Engine Wiring Harness

I am in need of an engine wiring harness for my 2004 E350 6.0L. I am having an intermittent no start because of sync. I have tried to locate one through the dealer and have been told the have been discontinued. I have been given numerous part numbers and am confused at this point. I would like a new harness, if not I can remove and either fix it myself or have it restored through a service. Is there anyone out there that knows the correct part number? Or have any info if later years, models would work(Excursion)? Thank you.

Greetings DeFletchMode,

Are you familiar with this thread form a few months ago? It isn't a perfect "this is the harness" answer but if you read through it it may shed some light on things. Also, you might try to message member ravensix as they seem to work at Ford and was part of the conversation. And, has logged in recently. A final note, I assume you are already aware but 2004 was the change over year for the 6.0's and it is good to know which version you have. I don't know if the harness is interchangeable between the early 6.0's and the rest of them.

Finally, Please post what you find out. I have thought I would sleep better at night knowing I have a new harness on the shelf for when mine goes bad. I just need to bite the bullet on the money for it. I'm thinking the harnesses for 6.0's in trucks will be available for a long time but the vans not so much. And it's my understanding that the van harness is unique to all the others, again.

I totally agree. Mine didn't make it to 100k before I had to have it replaced.

Replaced mine (2007 v6.0L) a couple of months ago. Yes finding one was hard but my diesel specialist knows the sources. Running smooth now.
