First Rule of Italian Driving...

[youtube:37j7baf0]

I was dreading having to run wires through the firewall, turned out not to be necessary.

I'm using the video input built into my Edge engine management device--another reason not to have a Scangage IMO.

Press the rear camera button on the menu screen and:

Should make hooking up the trailer much easier and keeping an eye on Daveb when he's following me--never know what that guy is up to.

Blast from the past Gumball Rally. Last/first time I saw that movie was at the drive-in. Didn't realize the Italian driver was Raúl Juliá.

If you're a hopeless car guy, you can't do much better than Gumball: real Ferrari Daytona Spider, real Cobras going real fast--yum.

Re: First Rule of Italian Driving...

Ha! Just discovered my Edge automatically switches to the video mode when I put the rig in reverse. Very cool. I was putting it in video mode and THEN putting the rig in reverse!

Re: First Rule of Italian Driving...

I lived in Italy for two years and people there drive better than they do here which seems improbable but it is tougher in Italy to get a drivers license than it is to get a pilots license here.
There is a lot of training required and the people that drive do so well.they won't stop for stop signs, red lights etc.and are known worldwide for their "inventive driving"
There are heaps of road blocks with machine guns to check your papers and insurance which must be displayed in your windshield. You have to pay a tax on your car radio and they will flat snatch your vehicle if your papers aren't right.

Re: First Rule of Italian Driving...

Zeta, what year is your van? And when do you update the firmware with the Fusion sinc software? I cant get mine to trigger the backup camera in reverse. I think the computer code is unique to vehicles. It took me almost a year working with them to get he code right to get EOT/TFT and 10 other readouts.
