Ford Upffitter Switch

I'm new here and need some help. I''m looking into installing an Upfitter Switch to my 2009 Ford E350. I found plenty for the F-Series but I was wondering is there a kit out there for my Van. Or can I use any of the F-Series Kit? Thanks

Don't know if it would be plug-n-play. I'd bet there are a few who could answer this question one being carringb. If the fuse box does not have the input/output plug, I would think you could get something from a marine dealer that would do the same that could tap off the fuse panel. I have the stock Ford switches in my work truck and don't like them because they are not lighted.

Thanks for the info. I'm hoping Ford made these switches interchangable between their trucks and vans. The search will continue.

I do not know if the wiring is standard or not. Ford tends to make most wiring standard in the vans (Like PTO wiring, trailer brake wiring etc).

I suggest seeing of you can find the upfitter switch wires under the hood. If yes, then I suspect the the switch panel is plug-and-play.

I don't know if it is the same switch panel as the pickups, but Tousley Ford has the E-series switch panel:

I should mention that the stock switches are lighted (You can't lable them like many aftermarket units) but only say AUX-1-4. I can never remember what goes to what. YMMV

While searching I notice there were extra no./letters. in front of the Part No. For example the Upfitter Switch my local dealer Identified the Part No. as 13D730 but during my search I came up with AL3Z-13D730-AA, 7C3Z-13D370-AA & 5C3Z-13D730-AA. Do you know what is the significance of the extra no./letters?

That's the base part number. The other numbers and letters are the details that make it fit your van verses a truck.

Not most of the time, just to name one example, Vans without the heavy duty towing (only 4 trailer wires) have a brown brake controller plug, but the blue power wire to the trailer brake stops at the connector block on the frame rail under the drivers left foot. You will find LOTS of strange “Missing” wires once you start to trace harnesses from different option packages.
