OK, I'll go get one of those.
My inverter is a Triplite.
I'm not feeling confident that I can figure any of this out.
Maybe I don't need to if I just stay away from that outlet.

That outlet maybe ok, you did get a green light after a couple of tries. But, neither that outlet nor any other standard household outlet mayl be enough to power the StarCool.

Charging batteries, ok.

Running the lights, ok.

Running the refrig, ok.

Starcool ????

It all seems academic at this point.
Here comes another hurricane.
At least the running board lift is fixed; we evacuate Friday morning if necessary.

Joanna get a digital plug in voltmeter as well as the type unit Jage showed. I actually found one that has both a voltmeter on it and it will check the polarity. For the most part If the plug shows good it's ok to use if it's a 3 prong type socket. After you are pluged into shore power check the voltage in one of the ac power plugs inside the van with the Starcool running. If it's below 115 turn off the Starcool and don't use it. Voltage below 115 can do damage to your air conditioner. Straight from Danhard the company who made the Starcool.

Have another safe trip.
Dave
