GFI won't reset despite power???

If the bus strip had heavy moisture on it, it's very possible for you to hear a electrical buzzing sound when power is supplied to the panel; I just had that happen a few weeks ago on a customers panel and it usually has to do with a dusty bus strip that gets wet. Usually it takes a lot of humidity or water to do it but what dhally posted is very possible also. I took it you were hearing the buzzing sound away from the GFI. I'd have SMB pull the breakers to make sure everything is clean and nothing tracked. Good luck.

SMB reported the electrical systems to all check out.

Problem seems to be gone with the very damp weather.

I'll let you know if it pops up again...
