Headlight help

Just had a drivers side headlight bulb go out and have had a hell of a time trying to find a replacement. The previous owner had some aftermarket 35w Ballast Hid installed "idiot" not realizing that the new owner would actually be driving this thing all over North America and would need a more readily available bulb! I was finally able to source some locally and they were "supposed" to be a universal fitting bulb...well let's just say I have it on but it will be replaced. I am in need of some advice thanks
Buck

Re: Headlight help

Well stock or if anyone knows of a great after market setup that would be easier to source bulbs for.

Re: Headlight help

Just buy a full 9007 Bi-Xenon HID kit. It's hard to match up all the different ballasts. I have found the mini-ballasts to be more sensitive than the full size ballasts. Shouldn't cost much more for a full kit vs a couple new bulbs. Stick with 4500-5500 Kelvin for true white instead of ricer blue (6-8k) or purple (9k).

Should be easy to temporarily go back to stock. Just unplug the ballasts form the headlight plugs, put a bulb back in. If they are currently Bi-xenon you'll want to pull the controller fuse too.
