I finally changed out that SurePower separator for a Blue Sea ACR 7610. It wasn't so hard, pretty much plug and play. The studs on the Blue Sea unit are bigger, but fortunately the terminals on my wires were big enough to fit.

Anyone want a SurePower 1315-200 battery separator that gets hot enough to cook on? It's free!
