Re: House Battery / Inverter / Appliance Question

I cut a piece of 3/4 in. Plywood about 8" x 18", attached that to the top of my floor jack pad (the saddle thingy) using metal strapping and screws into the 3/4" ply. The strapping runs around/across the bottom of the pad (have to find a picture) and screws into the bottom of the plywood. Created a really stable and wide platform for jacking up the battery assembly. If one were really worried about it, you could attach straps to the handle things on the end of the factory battery boxes. I found no need for additional straps, the setup worked really well.

Let me know if you need any other info.
