So my battery in this finally died and I partially destroyed it and scratched the paint trying to remove to replace. Finding a replacement keypad was nearly impossible, zero of this exact model, very few of the stick on no drill keypads of any sort. Here is what I purchased today, will update if it's compatible:

I received it, so that's good! The van and keypad haven't been in proximity yet- I'll update as soon as installed.

I thought I mentioned my experience on this one already but maybe it was a different thread on the same subject. Anyway, a good reason to consider letting your Ford dealer do this for you with a Ford version is that even on my 2008 E350 with factory keyless fobs the dealer had a little trouble determining the correct version for my van. They had to get a different part# from what they thought was correct the first try. They got it right though and it works great...about $100 in the 2021 Ford Accessory catalog

I bought the same one that jage bought which is linked in his last post. It's not working for me so I'm wondering if there is another part # for my particular year.

If anyone wants to buy one, I'll sell it for what I paid.

So I finally popped the old version keypad in the OP of this thread and very carefully took it apart. Everything went well but when it went back together there was no life in the keypad - it does nothing, it doesn't light up. I just read through a bunch of old posts hoping to find the solution and all I found was a pdf that said, "just put a new battery in". For the record I've never had to reprogram a remote when replacing the battery.

Also I haven't even tried the new version keypad yet, maybe I'll get around to that while trying to reprogram things. I really don't want to, not that it's difficult but watching my old videos... ugh.
