Led Lighting

I received an e-mail from www.ledlites.com today that announced a ten per cent discount on their products on all orders over two hundred dollars , might be worthy of a group purchase for some of you . Great timing after spending in excess of four hundred plus dollars this year on trying various lights fort the van .

Re: Led Lighting

Same here on the timing. Haven't even had time to install them yet!

OT, I do like the 12V LED flashlight: the red charge light that has so many others complaining is much less obtrusive than the ones on the other side of my steering column for the fog lights and (non-street-legal) long-distance lights.

Ah, but in the side wall outlet, it's way more obtrusive than the propane detector, which has 3 layered pieces of masking tape and permanent marker over the light and still keeps me up. I suppose if you want a kids nightlight this would be ideal, but part of the joy of SMBing is experiencing (and getting the kids to experience) some good old fashioned dark.

Mine is in my Jeep and once in awhile I mistake it for a warning light, but mostly it doesn't bother me while driving, but it's off with the key off there, and I don't sleep in the Jeep.

I have found that the light on the CO detector functions very well as a night-light... wow is it bright...
