FWIW almost all years E-Series from 1997 forward have shop & EVTM's available on CD-ROM's for "cheap"---very convenient but might take a bit to learn how to navigate through them. I have more than a few in addition to the printed manuals.
If you go that route know in advance the disc's will appear to be unusable because they have an embedded expiration date. The easiest work around is simply changing your computer's system clock to match the disc date--from there you have full access to dealer-level information. (There is a "run as date" software hack for this type of disc but I've never been able to successfully use it on my discs---most likely my lack of knowledge in this area.)
