no tail lights...was it the star cool work?

1999 E350. Tail lights worked last November. In January I had the compresser for the rear star cool replaced. Now no tail lights and no dashboard lights. Fuse keeps blowing. Short somewhere?

Star cool work could just be incidental.

Thoughts on where to start? We checked both rear tail light bulbs and all is good.

Thanks in advance.

Where did you find the replacement Starcool compressor?

We ordered it from Sportsmobile TX. Not cheap but it did the trick.

Thanks. I knew they could still get condensers (also expensive), but I thought the compressors were a thing of the past. Great news.

Garage
I'd check the back harness and work your way back. The Starcool shore power compressor is mounted outside on the frame on most builds. Pretty sure the lights run inside the body...I could be wrong but I lost my backups and had to bypass the wiring behind my cabinets and install a new run along the frame. Maybe take a look at any fuse taps that SMB might have tampered with under the dash. Might be an easy fix.
