That Yamaha should do it for him as his roof unit only needs 2500 watts to start and the Yamaha is rated at 2700. I agree the twin Hondas work great but fueling them is a chore. I bought the 5 gallon siphon fueler that allows both to suck from a common tank but lugging this stuff around was not feasible without the trailer. When the van is solo the single Honda stored aboard plus the inverter works pretty well although it hammers the battery.
