Replacing RV battery

Hi:
I'm in Boise and I've gone to a couple of RV service places about replacing the RV battery on my 02 Ford Sportsmobile.
The one in it now is a LifeLine GPL 4DL
210 AMP; 4D AGM.
Three places didn't want to handle it.
Any ideas?
Thanks,
Pete

Where is it located? Why not order the battery and install it yourself? It would be a simple extraction and installation.

If the RV shop won't do it have you asked a good auto shop to give it a try? The main thing to watch for are the physical dimensions of the battery and clearance of the lugs. As B350 posted, it's a fairly easy job especially for a shop. Make sure they know about the separator or isolator.

Having just replaced mine, its not very technical, its more physical. Make sure you have a 2nd set of hands and a floor jack.

Could anyone expand on what to tell the shop prior to replacement?

SEP had the best prices when I replaced mine in 2013. If you can pump gas you can change a battery - it's that simple.
