Rigid LED light bars installed

So after several conversations with Thomas at Rigid Industries, I decided to go with a 20" LED spot light bar and 2 - 6" LED flood bars mounted to the roof rack. I am amazed at the amount of light they produce. I have installed the PIAA Extreme white H13 bulbs in the headlight, I have the Hella 4000's mounted to the bumper with the upgraded 130 watt H1 bulb, and the standard Hella fog lamps installed in the front bumper. I am very very happy I choose to install these lights, the increase is at least 5 fold from the headlight/fog/Hella 4000's alone. Great upgrade for driving off-road at night (or baja highways).

I have attached pics below:

Here's one more pic of the front end all lite up tonight. The light you see in lower bumper and the lower windshield is a reflection from the light bars only.

How did you run the wiring from the roof rack? Where did you mount the switches for all your lights?

The switches (2) are on the left side of the valance just below the Quigley 4x4 indicator light. One is for the center spot, the other is for the 2 6" floods. Both are hot without the van running. Running the wire came up the side of the windshield, inside the headliner, then up the inside front corner of the pop top, throught the top corner, and up to the rack. We just followed the wiring that was in place to the solar panel on top.

Do they have covers? My Vision X lighting didn't have covers and I didn't really want to be pulled over for not having them on. They did make this ugly "bag" type thing but I ended up fabing a metal cover for the bar light.

They do sell hard plastic covers, similar to the Hella covers, but I did not get them (yet). I'm in Colorado so I'll check to see if they are required legally.

Re: Rigid LED light bars installed

Rigid does sell covers for their lights. You have your choice of Black or White solid colour or Optical Grade Red, Blue, Amber or Clear. The have covers for the E/M/D or SR Series lights. I have a set of 6" SR Specter Driving lights mounted in my bumper and they are AMAZING! They only draw 2.2 Amps as well. I highly recommend them.

Cheers
