Roof AirConditioner on Savana 1500

Hi. I am looking into buying a Savana 1500 Conversion Van with a roof airconditioner. It has an electric plug for an electric hook up. Is it possible to run this roof airconditioner with a generator of some sort that I could possibly store in a tow box behind the van. I do not want to permanently have a generator installed. What size generator would I need to run the AC for maybe 8-10 hours at a time.

Thanks so much.

Linda

2,000 watts to 3,000 Watts depending on the A/C unit you have. Any less and you run the risk of burning out youíre A/C unitís components. You also want one that makes "Clean power" in case you want to power a laptop etc.
