Had some routine service done, and they rotated tires. Nice, but they put my air pressure to listed door pillar values. That got me thinking, so I added this to my RV Status Program.

Uses Front and Rear axle weights, tire load rating, and tire load index to calculate rating. Oh, and a safety margin value.

What, no load cells to provide actual weights on each corner? I'm so disappointed.

This is awesome!
It seems like in development at this point, but I'll sign up when you're done with it.
How can one access just the tire pressure calculation feature, either through your program or elsewhere? I saw some manual Fitz posted but it rapidly got too complicated for my attention span, so something like you are suggesting I'd jump on!

This is in a program that I wrote for myself, so I don't expect to sell. I have an after market tire pressure monitoring system PressurePro. The calculator is in no part tied to them.

I just put the variables into a program, one could easily do it in an excel spreadsheet. I used the basic formula from post on this forum such as http://www.sportsmobileforum.com/for...ay-1247-2.html. I used the load index that is on the side of the tire, and the load rating. You can find generic tables for these on the web. Obviously you need to weigh the front and back axle's.

I could probably just make a stand alone calculator, I would need to expand my look up tables (as I limited them to what I expected to use on my van). If there was a level of interest I could do it, although I code for my enjoyment and to keep my retired mind going. I was actually hardware engineer, not a software engine for my career.
