Re: Satellite Radio Antenna Problem

Feb 2010
Wilson has XM problems
Even with a FAA height clearance rating it did not help

using a dash mount now, no good, height causes intermitten reception

looking at these to be mounted in the space in the roof rack for the A/C in the front corner
both can be un a short tube to bring it UP from the rack/solar panels and flush w/ AC unit
wondering if the AC will also "shadow" the antenna
maybe i put it up a bit higher than the AC an inch of so (dont know if have to modify the FAA cert)

Comments, suggestions?? thanx in advance
