Just back from a long weekend during which I tried a some more scangauge placements. For me Greg's placement is the best. Found that by putting the scangauge on the top of the dash, like I had it before, it suffers from glare. Not so if placed where Greg has his on the front of the dash.
Also found out that my speedometer's accuracy starts to drift the faster I go when compared to the scangauge. That is if those radar equipped roadside "Your Speed Is" lighted displays are to be believed. I noticed they agreed with the scangauge while the speedometer does not.
It's also a hoot when you crest a mountain and your MPG suddenly goes from 7 or 8 to
9999 MPG.
