Screamin' Deal: Zamp Pure Sine Wave Inverters
This is a follow up on the close out special that Lowe's has been having on Zamp pure sine wave inverters.
All they have left are the 300 Watt units. But $37 for a quality PSW inverter is a screaming deal.

Legit. Local store had 7 in stock up on a high shelf all lonely, so I adopted 2. I wanted something smallish just to charge a laptop.
Thanks for the heads up Glider!

You bet, Flux. Enjoy it.
They started out offering a 300, a 600, a 1000, and a 2000--all at amazing prices. Despite the fact that the 2000 is still on the web site, it is no longer available. The only one they have left is the 300--but that is perfect, as you say, for laptops and miscellaneous electronics.

They're tiny and come with clips and a socket connection. Definitely a smoking deal!!

FYI-
If you go to Lowes.com and search Zamp and choose the inverters, hit the check other stores instead of just your local. I was able to find the 2000 Watt, 1000 Watt, 600 Watt etc in a store super close to me. They won't parcel ship though.

I hate to break the news but charging a laptop thru an inverter is a waste of electricity and $.
It is way more efficient to buy a cigarette lighter adapter (12v) to charge directly from the house/starter batteries.
I bought mine from amazon for $9.99 with free shipping for my Dell laptop.
This is mine looks like.

Local Lowes didn't have it in stock, but I was able to order it and get it shipped. Thanks for posting!

I've hemmed and hawed over getting one of these for weeks, maybe a couple months since the word got out. I just couldn't see buying an inverter for my van given the long list of other needs, and I just don't plug anything AC in anymore, unless I so happen to have the luxury of shore power. Anyway, it is a very good deal for anyone in need.
I'll probably regret missing it.

I looked into it, but this is mostly for my HP Zbook 17 which has a 200 Watt charger. Couldn't find any 12V chargers for it.
But the wife has a lighter weight laptop and I should look into it. No reason to lose efficiency through the inverter.
