Seems like a rather obvious feature to be able to silent arm/disarm. I'm pretty sure my Jeep alarm has that feature, selectable from the remote key presses, but then again, it's been a long time since I read the manual.

Mine does have a silent arm and disarm feature however you have to press both the lock and unlock buttons at the exact same time in order for it to work silently. I usually accomplish this with a 50/50 chance of it working right. Of course in the campgrounds it always falls on the failure side of the equation. Would be great to just disarm the chirp altogether.
I wonder if you could attach a delay relay circuit to the horn. It might make your alarm sound weird, but a C1 of 50 uf (whatever that is... ) so the chirp would not overcome the delay.
These are mostly to delay radio amps when starting or shutting down, so I wonder if there is a need to discharge the capacitor. Not up on my EE...
Mike, I have the remote temperature on the fob. Where does it say to put the sensor, or is it just the installed alarm box that takes temperature? Mine somehow is in direct sun (don't know where) and skyrockets in temp as soon as the van is off. Makes it pretty useless.
as far as i can see the temp sensor is in the main unit. The install manual doesnt show it at all
