Speaking of isolation I added interrupt switches to my propane and co detectors. This is a terrible idea and possibly illegal, but it helped combat the drain.


Second thing I did was isolate the power windows and add them to constant power or off via a switch. This allows me to have the windows on or off regardless of ignition state.


And just recently I added some cheapo cameras in a rebuild - I noticed the "IR" lights were on all the time and was pulling the stereo to disconnect manually until I could get around to more rewiring. It was find for weeks on end in storage and then I left them connected for a few days in the driveway and it flattened my starter batteries.


I also have a solar panel but still obviously have drain gremlins.

Hi Jage, good to hear from you. I like your idea of the separate window power. Hoping your getting out on trips in the SMB still.
