Sine Wave Inverter

I am thinking about getting the Sine Wave Inverter to power the air conditioning while driving and would like to know whether it works on the road, problems, etc?

Re: Sine Wave Inverter

The only difference between a modified sine wave inverter and a true sine wave inverter is if you plan to use high end electronic that require a more pure form of electricity. I needed that for some equipment I carry but if I didn't need it I would have saved the money and went with the modified wave. I must admit my Xantrex Prosine inverter has some nice control panel features that help in trouble shooting electrical problems. It also has a smart charging system.
