Smoking deal on Solar Panels 100W for $150 shipped @ Costco

Grape Solar 100W monocrystalline panels for $150 on costco.com thru the end of the month. Already have some, just bought some more for the future camper.

The frames are fantastic, angle all the way around with a lip on the bottom. Put some cage nuts/j-clips on them and ready to install, no other mounts necessary.

While supplies last....

Are these good for mobile/RV use? They are listed as home panels, I believe.

Why not call Grape solar? More than likely they will tell you they will not supply a warranty for mobile use. Most don't anyway but never hurts to ask.

I spoke with Grape Solar pre-purchase (great cust svc BTW) and they specified this panel and recommended combining with the Blue Sky controller for RV use. That said, their warranty is somewhat irrelevant as Costco will return anything whether or not a manufacturer will.

One of the things I don't like about costco is being able to get the same product back. I'm not saying these panels aren't a good choice. Provided you can find them somewhere else if Costco dosen't have them, a great deal like that is worth looking into especially if they are a standard size that can be replaced by Grape or other manufacture. More than once I've installed something that failed only to have to completely do a project rebuild cause I couldn't find the same product or one that would fit...Just a thought. I hate it when that happens.
