Solar

This is Odd, any help is appreciated. I had a single 68W solar panel installed new and then later had SMBW add another remote plug so I could add a second solar panel on a long line when parked under a tree. Kind of an alternate type of set up.

Now for the Odd..... I can not have both panels plugged in at the same time. I have to un plug one to plug in the other, If I plug one in while the other one is plugged in it pops the circuit. Unplug one then plug in the other everything is good.

What’s up with that?

I have the Blue sky controller xantrex 2000 inverter and two 68W solara marine flex solar panels

Re: Solar

It sounds like one of the panels has reverse polarity. Check to see if the Blue Sky 2000E volt meter has a negative (-) sign before the volt reading when one of the panels is connected. If so, that is the panel connector that needs to be re-wired.
