My thoughts, exactly. However they weren't interested in discussing it. I figure it was one of those "life experiences" that you pay for and gain a little knowledge from. (It's just that I think I'm getting a little long in the tooth to benefit much from all those "Life experiences"...

Yes, I found the same thing when the heater hose popped off. Figured while they are in there it would be the perfect time to replace the fuel filter....nope, they charged me a flat rate even though they had everything all apart.

My next service call, I guess I have to explain to them I want each aspect of the service performed separately so I get what I'm paying for. Maybe then they'll be willing to negotiate a package deal.
