Does the furnace operate correctly when you disconnect from the current shore power?
If the answer to the above question is no then check the following.
1. Check the fuse.
2. Does the blower come on? Is not it is a power issue.
3. If blower does come on then it may be the air flow safety switch that is preventing the gas valve from opening. The switch is internal to the unit.
4. If the air flow switch is working then you should hear a click indicating the gas valve.
5. If the gas valve opens and then closes it may be a burner issue of a partially blocked exhaust of combustion air intake. Use a flashlight to look inside the exhaust and intake openings to see if there is an obstruction.
Another thing to check is the burner element. This requires that you remove the unit from the van and then the burner from the unit. Our furnace would go through the safety checks start heating and then turn off. Took it apart and found a spider web on the burner. Once that was gone the furnace worked correctly. Apparently there is a yellow spider that likes the residue left by burning natural gas or propane.
It is possible that the control board has gone bad. I am not sure how to test it.
