Trailer Brake Wiring

Bought a Tekonsha Voyager off of eBay. It came with a factory Ford harness (incidentially it came wired wrong)

But under the dash I already have a plug- looks identical (right plug right socket) and has 2 wires already connected and 4 loose wires. It's straight back from the parking brake and the loosey's were bound with electrical tape and 3/4 were capped.

The loose wires are:
Orange (10g)
Gray/Red Stripe (10g)
Green/white stripe (16g)
White/blue stripe(16g)

So two fat and two skinny wires. I'm pretty sure this is the place to hook in the brake controller, so I need to know what goes to:
Black: +12 Volts
Red: Stoplight (brakes applied)
Ground
Trailer Brake (output to trailer?)

I was crawling around with the camera today so I thought this might help. Herb isn't feeling good- maybe I'll have to go post on theDieselStop.com.

Turns out that's not the plug, the plug was way over to the right taped to a big mass of wires:

That's it once I turned it out from behind. Nothing like a flashlight and some frustration for finding hidden plugs!

jage,

Glad to see you found the real connector - mostly I had forgotten to look for more documentation. My excuse is that I had to change the oil/filter on the diesel.

Thanks for this Jage. I was thinking about installing my controller this past weekend, but was oh so confused with the plug and the capped wires (seemed like it would be the controller connector, but it was powering SMB-installed aux lights, etc.). My mass of wires looks just like your mass of wires. This thread clears that issue up nicely. Send me your bill.
