TV Stopped working... is there a TV switch???

Yesterday out of the blue my tv quit working. I spent about 2 hours trying to find a fuse but to no avail. Looking through the SMB manual I see that there's a TV Switch, which allows you to shut down voltage to the tv to conserve power when it's not being used. I've never heard of this, and thought I knew the location of all (well most, anyway) of the various switches and fuses by now. Does anybody have this, or can point me in the right direction? I'm not too confident it's something as simple as this but sounds like a good start... and wouldn't be great if that's all it was?!

Also for anyone that has an overheard TV installed by Rob in Fresno, any idea where the fuse is? I's love to have a little head start before I spend a day tearing things apart.

Thanks!

Gary

If it is 12 V, there is probably a fuse in the plug itself. IIRC it is a teeny tiny 3 amp fuse.

...which reminds me, I need to find some spares...

I don't have an overhead TV but I do have TV hookups for cable and antenna. While I never used either I noticed there is a switchbox under my sink. You have to look up with a light and maybe a mirror but it is right above the door giving access to the sink.

good luck.
