Re: Up lifter switches - where are the wires??

When you open the hood , there is a wire harness running at the top parallel to the windshield.
They are right in there. 1/3 driver side if my memory is correct.
I don't have a picture to point it out, and my van is way to far to shot one.
Take a pict and I can show better.

Re: Up lifter switches - where are the wires??

This explains where to find them
https://www.fleet.ford.com/truckbbas/non-html/Q173.pdf

They are NOT the same as truck up-fitter switches, it's not plug'n play like the truck.
You need to make the connections yourself, and obviously understand the wiring.

This will give you an overview.

This is the details for the connections you want to make.

Other wires & connectors that will be helpful.

Other than that, some very useful info on connectors that might help is posted to this forum.

A $25 ebay kit listed in that post was a godsend for me.

Re: Up lifter switches - where are the wires??

Thanks that got me in the right place.
From everything i found 09 and up things changed....
FYI the wires are to the left of the master cylinder with blunt caps on them there are 8 of them. Yellow is Aux1 (30amp), Green/Brown is Aux2 (30amp), Violet/Green is Aux3 (10amp), Brown Aux4 (15amp)

What threw me off is in the glove box it came with the relay, fuses and a plug in connnector with 4 wires on it so i was looking for the other end of the connector. i have no idea what it goes to.

thanks again for everyones help.

Stuff in your glove box it for trailer. Relay is power to trailer, plug it in the fuse box under hood, wire harness is for brake controller, connection is by the drivers left foot.
