upgrade headlamp with conversion kit

Does anyone know how to tell if a 1994 Ford e-350 would utilize a "SEALED BEAM" headlight conversion kit or would be be some other type ?

Members have recommended High Performance Bulb's as a resource for ordering upgrades and they have numerous options so I wanted to ask before ordering stuff from them.

thank you in advance.

If you are ready to replace your headlights by some other with clear glass (amazon send some), you can convert them with HID kit from The Retrofit Source. Difference is awesome (I just installed morimoto kit on VivaLaVida !), no comparison with before !

Re: upgrade headlamp with conversion kit

There is a thread here where I document the upgrade to good E-code halogen lights. Very cost effective, great performance, and easy to find replacement bulbs.

I'm on a road trip now and just amazed at how well they work.

Does the 94 VAn have a sealed beam is really what I need to establish as I understand my choices are contingent on if a sealed beam or not?

Thanks for the references and I will also contact them to see if they know the answer.

You'll need to examine the headlamps. Typically they are. And Sealed beams are crap. You can replace them with an identical sized halogen lamp and upgraded bulbs but you MUST upgrade the headlight wiring.

The mod on the attached link I did to my 1999 cargo van which came with sealed beams.
